Species differences in the sensitivity to a GnRH antagonist
The effects of the potent GnRH antagonist [Ac-D-NAL(2)1, 4F-D-Phe2, D-Trp3, D-Arg6]-GnRH (GnRH-A), on ovulation in mature rats and rabbits and on serum LH and FSH levels in ovariectomized rats, rabbits and mice were investigated.

Role of SoxE transcription factors in development and disease
Abstract Sox8, Sox9, and Sox10 arose by multiple rounds of genome duplications from a single SoxE gene in ancestral vertebrates. In this review, we will briefly discuss the molecular structure and function of SoxE transcription factors and their evolutionary origin. We will then discuss their expression, function, and developmental disorders.

Abstract The olfactory placode (OP) generates a broad array of chemosensory neurons in the nasal region, including olfactory sensory neurons, vomeronasal sensory neurons, neurons of the septal organ, and Grueneberg ganglion. During invagination, the OP also generates migratory neuronal populations, including gonadotropin‐releasing hormone‐1 (GnRH‐1 ...

The role of Gai in the Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor inhibition of cell proliferation [PDF]
Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 72-78).The activation of Gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor (GnRHR) by the GnRH ligand has been shown to mediate antiproliferative effects in extra-pituitary cells and in reproductive ...

Monthly or menstrual? A scoping review of catamenial epilepsy and non‐menstrual seizure rhythms
Abstract Objective Despite the reported high prevalence of catamenial epilepsy (CE), the condition remains poorly defined, with lack of consensus on what entails a menstrual‐related seizure exacerbation. Emerging evidence of multiday cycles of seizure activity, including about‐monthly cycles, present in both men and women, further confound the ...
