Charting Endocrine Progenitors Across Species and Organs
Endocrine progenitors give rise to the hormone‐producing cells of the pancreas and intestine. Using single‐cell multiomics and proteomics, this study compares these progenitors across species, systems, and organs, mapping the conserved and species‐specific gene regulatory networks that guide their formation.

Changes with age in density of goblet cells in the small intestine of broiler chicks
Goblet cells secrete mucin 2 (Muc2), which is a major component of the mucus that lines the intestinal tract and creates a protective barrier between pathogens and the intestinal epithelial cells and thus are important for chick health. The objectives of

Probiotic B.p colonization elevated gut‐derived inosine level in the liver, while elevated inosine activated A2AR and subsequently blocked NPs‐induced polarization of M1 macrophages by repressing the miR155/SOCS1/NF‐κB pathway. This reduced the release of inflammatory cytokines and thereby, mitigated NPs‐induced hepatic injury.

Context-Dependent Regulation of Conjunctival Goblet Cell Function by Allergic Mediators
In the eye, goblet cells responsible for secreting mucins are found in the conjunctiva. When mucin production is not tightly regulated several ocular surface disorders may occur.

ON THE SITE OF SULFATION IN COLONIC GOBLET CELLS [PDF]
The location of bound S35 in the goblet cell of the rat colon at time points from 2 to 60 minutes after administration of S35 as sodium sulfate has been observed in vivo and in vitro by radioautographic techniques. Grains were first observed by electron microscopy over the stacked lamellae of the paranuclear part of the Golgi apparatus.

Functional biology of intestinal goblet cells
Goblet cells reside throughout the length of the small and large intestine and are responsible for the production and maintenance of the protective mucus blanket by synthesizing and secreting high-molecular-weight glycoproteins known as mucins.

Slow Turning Lateral Vessel Bioreactor Improves Embryoid Body Formation and Cardiogenic Differentiation of Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells. [PDF]
Embryonic stem cells (ESCs) have the ability to form aggregates, which are called embryoid bodies (EBs). EBs mimic early embryonic development and are commonly produced for cardiomyogenesis.

The influence of various feed additives on the development of duodenal goblet cells in broilers [PDF]
A comparative study was carried out on the effect of three drugs on the development of goblet cells in the duodenum of broilers. In the first experiment, day-old broilers Smena-8 were divided into 4 groups.
