Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) pathogenesis remains unclear. This study reveals that thymus‐originated IL‐7R‐enriched extracellular vesicles exacerbate colitis by promoting neutrophil extracellular traps via a thymus‐gut axis, uncovering an inter‐organ communication mechanism in inflammatory bowel disease pathogenesis.

Context-Dependent Regulation of Conjunctival Goblet Cell Function by Allergic Mediators
In the eye, goblet cells responsible for secreting mucins are found in the conjunctiva. When mucin production is not tightly regulated several ocular surface disorders may occur.

m6A‐Mediated Glycolysis by IL‐37 Drives T Cell Metabolic Reprogramming to Regulate Colitis
This study identifies an IL‐37/SIGIRR‐METTL14 regulatory axis that suppresses global m6A modification in CD4+ T cells. IL‐37 signaling, mediated through SIGIRR, inhibits IRAK4 and JNK phosphorylation, leading to downregulation of the methyltransferase METTL14.

The influence of various feed additives on the development of duodenal goblet cells in broilers [PDF]
A comparative study was carried out on the effect of three drugs on the development of goblet cells in the duodenum of broilers. In the first experiment, day-old broilers Smena-8 were divided into 4 groups.

Probiotic B.p colonization elevated gut‐derived inosine level in the liver, while elevated inosine activated A2AR and subsequently blocked NPs‐induced polarization of M1 macrophages by repressing the miR155/SOCS1/NF‐κB pathway. This reduced the release of inflammatory cytokines and thereby, mitigated NPs‐induced hepatic injury.

Autoimmune Enteropathy with Goblet-Cell Antibodies [PDF]
Boari flap was undertaken, and histological examination confirmed the presence of a single pTaG 1 papillary transitional cell carcinoma in the lower third of the ureter. Subsequent cystoscopies at three and six months were normal. One year after the surgical procedure the patient developed painless haematuria.

A sulfated polysaccharide (SCP) from Cyclocarya paliurus alleviates ulcerative colitis by reshaping the gut microbiome. This remodeled microbiota orchestrates the upregulation of the host‐derived lipid 12‐HEPE, which directly inhibits the TLR4/NF‐κB pathway to suppress inflammation.
