Statistical Inference on Simple Step-Stress Accelerated Life Testing for Gompertz Distribution Under .Progressive Type-II Censoring [PDF]
We consider a simple step-stress model under the Gompertz distribution (GD) when the available data are type-II progressive censored. The cumulative exposure model is assumed when the lifetime of test units follows a Gompertz distribution.

Variation in Life History Characteristics of Common Bream (Abramis brama) Populations in Sweden
ABSTRACT Knowledge of life history characteristics is important for fisheries management and monitoring of ecosystem integrity. This study examines life history characteristics of common bream (Abramis brama) from Swedish Baltic Sea coastal areas, two larger lakes and five smaller lakes in Sweden.

A non‐contact computer vision method enables monitoring and quantitative comparison of vessel‐specific CO release kinetics from structurally diverse surrogates in two‐chamber COware reactors, revealing that surrogate reactivity scores correlate with carbonylation reaction outcomes.

In cardiovascular disease (CVD) patients, accelerated biological aging is independently associated with elevated mortality risk, which is mediated by neurodegenerative disease. Early‐onset CVD amplifies the mortality risk, whereas a healthy lifestyle confers partial protection.

Climate exposure at different developmental stages exerts ontogenetically variable effects on growth in Dosidicus gigas, with ENSO impacts shifting from cold‐phase growth advantages in early life to warm‐phase advantages later in development. The timing of this shift differs between equatorial and southern groups, reflecting spatial contrasts in ...

A Novel Gompertz-Type Distribution with Applications to Radiological Dose and Pharmacokinetic Data
This study introduces a novel four-parameter lifetime distribution constructed within the Topp–Leone Power Gompertz framework. Owing to its flexible structure, the proposed model accommodates a wide range of density shapes and hazard-rate patterns ...

Normalized Gompertz wavelets and their applications
In this paper we define, using the Stirling numbers of the second kind, the Gompertz wavelets and show their basic properties. In particular, we prove that the admissibility condition holds for them. We also compute the normalizing factors in the space of the square-integrable functions [Formula: see text] and present an explicit formula for them in ...

ABSTRACT Background Depression and anxiety pose a major challenge to global public mental health, and early life exposures are known to exert substantial long‐term effects. However, evidence on the long‐term effect of sugar restriction during the first 1000 days after conception on mental health remains limited, and it is still unclear whether such ...

ABSTRACT Background and Aims Solid tumors emerge from uncontrolled cell division and interactions with neighboring cells that influence their growth and resistance to therapy. Anti‐cancer drugs are developed to disrupt these processes, but they often damage healthy cells, making treatment difficult to manage safely and effectively. As the global cancer
