Wine Grape Residues Gasification In Supercritical Water

open access: yes, 2013
In this study, production possibilities of hydrogen and/or methane via SCWG from black grape residues have been investigated. For this aim, grape residues which remain as a byproduct of the wine making process have been used. Since utilization from grape residues is limited due to the high moisture content, supercritical water gasification is the most ...

Fine‐Needle Aspiration of Salivary Gland Tumors With Low‐Grade Oncocytic Features: Focusing on Oncocytoma Versus Oncocytic Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma

open access: yesDiagnostic Cytopathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Salivary gland fine‐needle aspirates (FNAs) with low‐grade oncocytic features are diagnostically challenging due to the substantial morphologic overlap between benign oncocytic tumors and their malignant mimickers. This study evaluates the diagnostic discriminators, performance, and risk of malignancy of these lesions using the ...

Fluorescence Behavior of Water‐Soluble Porphyrins Immobilized on LTA Zeolite and Its Chlorogenic Acid Polyphenol Sensing in Coffee Wastewater

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
During coffee bean and cherry washing, contaminants are released into water, making this process a major source of water pollution. Chlorogenic acid can be efficiently detected using hybrid zeolite–porphyrin materials by measuring fluorescence quenching, achieving detection limits lower than current regulatory thresholds.
