The grapevine fanleaf disease is mainly caused in Europe by the Grapevine fanleaf virus (GFLV) and the Arabis mosaic virus (ArMV). The principal mean to limit their spread, is to certify their absence in marketed grapevines by serological methods such as DAS-ELISA.
