Rootstock influences the effect of grapevine leafroll‐associated viruses on berry development and metabolism via abscisic acid signalling

open access: yesMolecular Plant Pathology, Volume 22, Issue 8, Page 984-1005, August 2021., 2021
GLRaVs elicit changes in gene expression, ripening‐related metabolites, and hormone metabolism in berries; one set of responses is observed across infections and host genotypes while other responses differ based on rootstock. Abstract Grapevine leafroll‐associated virus (GLRaV) infections are accompanied by symptoms influenced by host genotype ...

Detection and diversity of viruses infecting African yam (Dioscorea rotundata) in a collection and F1 progenies in Côte d'Ivoire shed light to plant‐to‐plant viral transmission

open access: yesPlant Pathology, Volume 70, Issue 6, Page 1486-1495, August 2021., 2021
A survey of leaf symptoms and viral molecular indexation on African yam germplasm and two hybrid populations unveiled a high prevalence of yam viruses in Côte d'Ivoire and provided evidence for their plant‐to‐plant transmission. Abstract Yam (Dioscorea spp.) is a major staple food whose production is hampered by viral diseases.

Properties of Grapevine Fanleaf Virus

open access: yesJournal of General Virology, 1976
Summary Purified preparations of grapevine fanleaf virus consist of three serologically indistinguishable centrifugal components, T, M and B, with sedimentation coefficients of 50, 86 and 120S respectively, and containing 0, 30 and 42% RNA. At equilibrium in CsCl gradients, T, M and B components precipitate. Their buoyant densities are 1.31, 1.41 and 1.
