Graph Attention-based Grouped Multi-agent Reinforcement Learning Method [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
Currently,multi-agent reinforcement learning is widely applied in various cooperative tasks. In real environments, agents always have access to only partial observations, leading to inefficient exploration of cooperative strategies. Moreover, sharing reward ...

A network model of interpersonal alignment in dialog

open access: yes, 2010
In dyadic communication, both interlocutors adapt to each other linguistically, that is, they align interpersonally. In this article, we develop a framework for modeling interpersonal alignment in terms of the structural similarity of the interlocutors ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Health centers network analysis with Gephi and ForceAtlas2 approach: Case of Burkina Faso

open access: yesScientific African
Burkina Faso, like many developing countries, faces significant challenges in public health, particularly regarding healthcare access and infrastructure distribution. Healthcare centers are unevenly distributed across regions, resulting in disparities in

An Algebra of Hierarchical Graphs and its Application to Structural Encoding [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We define an algebraic theory of hierarchical graphs, whose axioms characterise graph isomorphism: two terms are equated exactly when they represent the same graph.

Biophysical approaches for studying viral entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Viruses infect all living organisms and have been responsible for major epidemics and pandemics. Their ongoing evolutionary battle with host defenses creates a constant need for improved tools to study viral behavior. Advancing methods to probe viral attachment, fusion, and genome release deepen our understanding of how infections begin and support the

A label graph based verifiable secret sharing scheme for general access structures

open access: yesJournal of Communications and Networks, 2013
Secret sharing is that a dealer distributes a piece of information (called a share) about a secret to each participant such that authorized subsets of participants can reconstruct the secret but unauthorized subsets of participants cannot determine the secret.
