Single‐cell DNA methylation (scDNAme) profiling maps epimutational clonal evolution, revealing mechanisms of malignancy and therapeutic resistance across diverse cancer types. By providing a high‐resolution landscape of intratumoral heterogeneity, these technologies empower precise patient stratification, guide the development of enhanced ...

Restage: Relation Structure-Aware Hierarchical Heterogeneous Graph Embedding
Heterogeneous graphs contain multiple types of entities and relations, which are capable of modeling complex interactions. Embedding on heterogeneous graphs has become an essential tool for analyzing and understanding such graphs.

Parameterized streaming : maximal matching and vertex cover [PDF]
As graphs continue to grow in size, we seek ways to effectively process such data at scale. The model of streaming graph processing, in which a compact summary is maintained as each edge insertion/deletion is observed, is an attractive one.

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

Graph-based Syntactic Word Embeddings
We propose a simple and efficient framework to learn syntactic embeddings based on information derived from constituency parse trees. Using biased random walk methods, our embeddings not only encode syntactic information about words, but they also ...

Let G be a graph embedded in a surface S. The face-width of the embedding is the minimum size \(| C\cap G|\) over all noncontractible cycles C in S. The face-width measures how densely a graph is embedded in a surface; equivalently, how well an embedded graph represents a surface.

Geometrical embeddings of graphs
First the paper considers generalized threshold graphs and gives a characterization of such graphs by a list of 11 forbidden induced subgraphs \((G_ 8\) being superfluous since it contains \(G_ 2\) as an induced subgraph). Then the scalar product dimension d(G) of a graph \(G=(V,E)\) is defined to be the minimum number d such that there exists a ...

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.
