Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Minimum Spanning Trees for Minor-Closed Graph Classes in Parallel [PDF]
For each minor-closed graph class we show that a simple variant of Boruvka's algorithm computes a MST for any input graph belonging to that class with linear costs.

Cause-effect graphs are a popular black-box testing technique. The most commonly used approach for generating test cases from cause-effect graph specifications uses backward-propagation of forced effect activations through the graph in order to get the ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

A formula for all minors of the adjacency matrix and an application
We supply a combinatorial description of any minor of the adjacency matrix of a graph. This descriptionis then used to give a formula for the determinant and inverse of the adjacency matrix, A(G), of agraph G, whenever A(G) is invertible, where G is ...

Co-regulation of metabolic genes is better explained by flux coupling than by network distance. [PDF]
To what extent can modes of gene regulation be explained by systems-level properties of metabolic networks? Prior studies on co-regulation of metabolic genes have mainly focused on graph-theoretical features of metabolic networks and demonstrated a ...

On triangles in ‐minor free graphs [PDF]
AbstractWe study graphs where each edge that is incident to a vertex of small degree (of degree at most 7 and 9, respectively) belongs to many triangles (at least 4 and 5, respectively) and show that these graphs contain a complete graph (K6 and K7, respectively) as a minor. The second case settles a problem of Nevo.
