Optimization Letters, 2019 An edge-colored graph $G$ is called properly colored if no two adjacent edges share a color in $G$. An edge-colored connected graph $G$ is called properly connected if between every pair of distinct vertices, there exists a path that is properly colored. In this paper, we discuss how to make a connected graph properly connected efficiently.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Human ABCE1 cannot functionally replace its yeast ortholog. Yeast–human chimera analysis identified NBD1 as a major interspecies barrier. Genetic screening yielded hABCE1 revertants that rescue yeast viability but fail to suppress aberrant translation reinitiation in the 3′ UTR.
