Effective and scalable methods for graph protection strategies against epidemics on dynamic networks
Dynamic networks are networks with temporal relationship features which evolve over time by the inclusion and deletion of nodes and edges. Suppressing the epidemic spreading in such networks is quite challenging.

The sharing of rights and information in a capability-based protection system [PDF]
The question of sharing of rights and information in the Take-Grant Protection Model is examined by concentrating on the similarities between the two; in order to do this, new theorems are stated and proven for each that specifically show the ...

Graph protection under multiple simultaneous attacks: A heuristic approach
This work focuses on developing an effective meta-heuristic approach to protect against simultaneous attacks on nodes of a network modeled using a graph. Specifically, we focus on the $k$-strong Roman domination problem, a generalization of the well-known Roman domination problem on graphs.

Objective The objective of this study was to describe the longitudinal disease course and pulmonary outcomes of North American patients with melanoma differentiation–associated protein 5 (MDA5) antibody–associated dermatomyositis (DM). Methods Thirty patients with MDA5 antibody–associated DM were identified in a single‐center longitudinal cohort of 352

Assessing Altered Coating Adhesion on Plasma‐Deoxidized Surfaces Under Oxygen‐Free Conditions
This study demonstrates the effectiveness of atmospheric pressure plasma pretreatment in modifying silicon and stainless steel surfaces to improve adhesion. Argon‐hydrogen plasma increases surface roughness and improves adhesion strength, whereas pure argon results in smoother surfaces and structural changes.

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...
