We develop lagged Metropolis-Hastings walk for sampling from simple undirected graphs according to given stationary sampling probabilities. We explain how to apply the technique together with designed graphs for sampling of units-in-space.

Using a Bayesian approach to reconstruct graph statistics after edge sampling
Often, due to prohibitively large size or to limits to data collecting APIs, it is not possible to work with a complete network dataset and sampling is required.

2.5K-graphs: From sampling to generation [PDF]
Understanding network structure and having access to realistic graphs plays a central role in computer and social networks research. In this paper, we propose a complete, and practical methodology for generating graphs that resemble a real graph of interest. The metrics of the original topology we target to match are the joint degree distribution (JDD)

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Graph-feature-enhanced point cloud sampling for object detection
Light detection and ranging (LiDAR)-acquired point-cloud data are extensive and characterized by their non-uniform density, with points typically denser near the sensor and sparser at greater distances.

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Counting Motifs with Graph Sampling
Applied researchers often construct a network from a random sample of nodes in order to infer properties of the parent network. Two of the most widely used sampling schemes are subgraph sampling, where we sample each vertex independently with probability $p$ and observe the subgraph induced by the sampled vertices, and neighborhood sampling, where we ...

Bipartite incidence graph sampling
Graph sampling provides a statistical approach to study real graphs, which can be of interest in numerous investigations. There have been significant contributions to the existing graph sampling theory. However, a general approach to graph sampling which
