Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

On the Hardware Implementation of Triangle Traversal Algorithms for Graphics Processing

open access: yes, 2010
Current GPU architectures provide impressive processing rates in graphical applications because of their specialized graphics pipeline. However, little attention has been paid to the analysis and study of different hardware architectures to implement ...

Graphics processing unit accelerated coarse-grained protein-protein docking [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references (leaves [187]-202).In this work, we describe a Graphics processing unit (GPU) implementation of the Kim-Hummer coarse-grained model for protein docking simulations, using a Replica Exchange Monte ...

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

A global hierarchical Z space algorithm for cluster parallel graphics architectures

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper we present a new global hierarchical Z-space sort-last algorithm for cluster parallel graphics architectures that improves upon algorithms used so far for high performance super-graphics.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

The graphics calculator as an investigative tool

open access: yes, 1999
The graphics calculator seems to be frequently misunderstood, especially by those who are unaccustomed to using it. (Kissane, 1997a) For example, it is sometimes regarded as a device to assist students to pass examinations, perhaps understandably in ...

Robust balance shift control with posture optimization

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we present a control framework which creates robust and natural balance shifting behaviours during standing. Given high-level features such as the position of the center of mass projection and the foot configurations, a kinematic posture ...
