Gravity distribution characteristics and their relationship with the distribution of earthquakes and tectonic units in the North–South seismic belt, China

open access: yesGeodesy and Geodynamics, 2015
The North–South Seismic Belt (NSSB) is a Chinese tectonic boundary with a very complex structure, showing a sharp change in several geophysical field characteristics.

Venus: Ishtar gravity anomaly

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, 1984
Ishtar has been detected as a positive gravity anomaly. Verification of this result has been made with two independent data sets. Isostatic compensation of the Ishtar topography using an Airy model is achieved at approximately 150km.

Landscape of Research on Accounting Scope 3 Emissions: A Review of Methodologies and Data

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Scope 3 emissions have been proposed as a critical metric for evaluating corporate carbon footprint, identifying emission sources, and developing mitigation solutions. Yet, widespread corporate reporting of Scope 3 emissions remains limited, highlighting a critical gap in both research and practice.

Using satellite altimetry leveling to assess the marine geoid

open access: yesGeodesy and Geodynamics, 2020
Based on the concept of Global Position System (GPS)/leveling, the satellite altimetry leveling (SAL) is first proposed to evaluate the marine geoid. SAL is derived by the difference among the mean sea surface (MSS), mean dynamic ocean topography (MDT ...

Duality anomalies in linearized gravity

open access: yesPhysical Review D
Classical linearized gravity admits a dual formulation in terms of a higher-rank tensor field. However, proposing a prescription for the instanton sectors of linearized gravity and its dual, we show that they may be . The duality anomaly is obtained by resolving the dual graviton theories into vector-valued p-form electrodynamics and is controlled by ...

An optimizing microseismic method for rock burst early warning based on mining production process

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
A classification early warning method of rock burst based on hourly microseismic data is proposed, which can be combined with the on‐site production process to provide more timely warning. Abstract Microseismic (MS) events have been reported in nearly every coal mining country, which could well lead to rock burst in underground coal mines.

Flavorful hybrid anomaly-gravity mediation

open access: yes, 2011
We consider supersymmetric models where anomaly and gravity mediation give comparable contributions to the soft terms and discuss how this can be realized in a five-dimensional brane world.

Assessment of the Potential of Spaceborne GNSS-R Interferometric Altimetry for Monthly Marine Gravity Anomaly

open access: yesRemote Sensing
The Earth’s time-variable gravity field holds significant research and application value. However, satellite gravimetry missions such as GRACE and GRACE-FO face limitations in spatial resolution when detecting monthly gravity fields, while traditional ...
