A nanoporous SiO2 memristor enabling reconfigurable volatile and non‐volatile switching within a single device is demonstrated. The dual‐mode functionality supports both physical reservoir dynamics and synaptic weight storage, allowing unified hardware implementation of reservoir computing for temporal information processing, including image and ...

Perspectives on conservation grazing: The need for monitoring and communication
Conservation grazing is widely used to manage open ecosystems, but inconsistent definitions and inadequate reporting of grazing patterns hinder effective communication among researchers, practitioners and policymakers, limiting the understanding and ...

EVOLUTION OF DAIRY GRAZING IN THE 1990'S
A literature review of selected items from 1985 to 2002 shows the evolution of management intensive grazing (MIG) with emphasis primarily on Michigan, and secondarily on the Great Lakes Region. There are sections on 1) Using Pasture, 2) The Technology of

A Relationship of Trust: Are State ?School Trust Lands? Being Prudently Managed for the Beneficiary? [PDF]
Every state entering the Union in the United States since 1803 received land grants from the federal government for the support of their public schools. Inherent in this federal grant is the fiduciary duty to prudently and effectively manage trust assets

Dynamics of Sudanian savanna-woodland ecosystem in response to disturbances [PDF]
Grazing, fire and selective tree cutting are major disturbances shaping species diversity and productivity in savanna-woodland ecosystems. Their effects, however, are highly variable and poorly understood.

Non‐Equilibrium Synthesis of Whitlockite Assisted by Localized H2O Vapor Pressure
A carbon substrate acts as a microheater during intense pulsed light irradiation, enabling rapid heating and cooling for whitlockite formation. In contrast to conventional white ceramic synthesis with weak photothermal response, this platform concentrates thermal energy locally and promotes phase‐selective crystallization under ultrafast ...

Rubrene microcrystals, forming two distinct sector types, are investigated using photoemission electron spectroscopy. The two sectors exhibit a built‐in charge landscape, arising from anisotropic conductivities. Upon excitation with UV light, the diamond‐shaped sectors accumulate significant charge, whereas the triangular sectors remain essentially ...

Contract Grazing on Winter Annuals: Risks and Returns for Cattle Owners
Critical factors affecting risk and profitability for cattle owners under contract grazing include cattle weight at purchase and time spent on pasture and feedlot.

A self‐assembled monolayer (≈0.9 nm) of an axially chiral binaphthol phosphoric acid derivative on a ferromagnetic Ni/NiOx substrate shows chiral‐induced spin selectivity (CISS) magnetoresistance of 50%–80%. This thermally and chemically robust functional stack shows the way towards practical spintronic devices based on the CISS effect.

A straightforward method is introduced to produce ion‐gel films with very low surface roughness by employing a solution‐shearing coating process. These ion‐gel films permit the growth of crystalline thin films of various small molecule organic semiconductor molecules directly on top of the ion‐gel layer, thereby enabling “inverted” small molecule ...
