ON GREEN’S FUNCTION OF DARBOUX PROBLEM FOR HYPERBOLIC EQUATION
It is well known that the Darboux problem for the hyperbolic equation is correct, both in the senseof classical and generalized solutions. An integral form of the solution of the Darboux problem ina characteristic triangle for a general two-dimensional ...

Analysis of a concentric coplanar capacitive sensor using a spectral domain approach [PDF]
Previously, concentric coplanar capacitive sensors have been developed to quantitatively characterize the permittivity or thickness of one layer in multi‐layered dielectrics. Electrostatic Green’s functions due to a point source at the surface of one‐ to

Phototrophs evolved light‐harvesting systems adapted for efficient photon capture in habitats enriched in far‐red radiation. A subset of eukaryotic pigment‐binding proteins can absorb far‐red photons via low‐energy chlorophyll states known as red forms.

A Difference Equation with Anti-Periodic Boundary Conditions [PDF]
In this paper, we apply an extension of the Leggett-Williams fixed point theorem to the second order difference equation ∆2u(k)+f(u(k+1)) = 0, k ∈ {0, 1, . . . , N}, satisfying the anti-periodic boundary conditions u(0) + u(N + 2) = 0, ∆u(0) + ∆u(N +1) =

Mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation is stimulated by red light irradiation
Light at different wavelengths has distinct effects on keratinocyte viability and metabolism. UVA light abrogates metabolic fluxes. Blue and green light have no effect on metabolic fluxes, while red light enhanced oxidative phosphorylation by promoting fatty acid oxidation. Keratinocytes are the primary constituents of sunlight‐exposed epidermis.

An intracellular transporter mitigates the CO2‐induced decline in iron content in Arabidopsis shoots
This study identifies a gene encoding a transmembrane protein, MIC, which contributes to the reduction of shoot Fe content observed in plants under elevated CO2. MIC is a putative Fe transporter localized to the Golgi and endosomal compartments. Its post‐translational regulation in roots may represent a potential target for improving plant nutrition ...

A Fast Frequency Sweep – Green’s Function Based Analysis of Substrate Integrated Waveguide [PDF]
In this paper, a fast frequency sweep technique is applied to the analysis of Substrate Integrated Waveguides performed with a Green’s function technique.

A Cre‐dependent lentiviral vector for neuron subtype‐specific expression of large proteins
We designed a versatile and modular lentivector comprising a Cre‐dependent switch and self‐cleaving 2A peptide and tested it for co‐expression of GFP and a 2.8 kb gene of interest (GOI) in mouse cortical parvalbumin (PV+) interneurons and midbrain dopamine (TH+) neurons.
