Application of BIM in sustainability analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle. Typically it uses three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling software to increase productivity in building design and ...

Nicotinamide N‐methyltransferase promotes drug resistance in lung cancer, as revealed by nascent proteomic profiling

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Study on the Influence of the Sintering Process on the Performance of Paper-Mill Sludge–Shale Bricks

open access: yesBuildings
To achieve the resource utilization of solid waste generated from the papermaking process, this study proposes a method for preparing sintered bricks by partially replacing shale with paper-mill sludge.

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Enhancing piezoelectric sensing properties of DLP-printed PZT ceramics through controlled powder light absorption

open access: yesJournal of Materiomics
Digital light processing (DLP) printing of PbZrTiO3 (PZT) ceramics is significantly hampered by the inherent high light absorption of the powder, leading to detrimental defects such as shrinkage and cracking, which severely compromise the final sensor ...

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by
