Centella asiatica extracts as green corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in 0.5 M sulphuric acid medium

open access: yes, 2012
The leaf extracts of centella asiatica(CE) was tested as green corrosioninhibitor for mild steel in 0.5 M H2SO4 by using gravimetric, polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements. The data obtained from all the three methods

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

The Inhibitive Effect of Vitamin-C on the Corrosive Performance of Steel in HCl Solutions - Part II

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2015
The inhibitive behaviour of Vitamin C, as a type of green inhibitor, on the corrosive behaviour of stainless-steel (SS) X4Cr13 within an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid (HCl) was studied at concentration of c= (0.01, 0.1 and 1.0) mol L-1 ...

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
