Pruning chemicals from the green building landscape [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology, 2019
AbstractGreen building design has substantially minimized environmental impacts by reducing energy consumption compared with traditional buildings. Yet, it is not uncommon for a green building to meet the highest criteria for energy efficiency and be built with materials that contain chemicals hazardous to occupant health.

Time and technique of green pruning 'Charme' peaches to obtain quality fruits

open access: yesScientia Agraria Paranaensis, 2021
One of the management techniques that aim to improve the quality of the fruits is green pruning, which main purpose is to increase the penetration of light in the crown, favoring pigmentation, thus improving the flavor of the fruits. However, it is not always done, since it requires labor. The objective of this work was to evaluate the time and the way

Influence of pruning upon carbon dioxide fixation with urban greening

open access: yesJournal of the Japanese Society of Revegetation Technology, 2003
