Gut microbiota alterations in patients with non‐small‐cell lung cancer undergoing chemoradiotherapy
We investigated the impact of concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT) on the gut microbiota in patients with locally advanced non‐small‐cell lung cancer. Overall gut microbiota composition remained largely stable throughout CRT while antibiotic exposure may influence microbial diversity.

Applied Biotransformations in Green Solvents
Chemistry – A European Journal, 2010AbstractThe definite interest in implementing sustainable industrial technologies has impelled the use of biocatalysts (enzymes or cells), leading to high chemo‐, regio‐ and stereoselectivities under mild conditions. As usual substrates are not soluble in water, the employ of organic solvents is mandatory. We will focus on different attempts to combine

Green chemistry - green solvent [PDF]
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) definition, green chemistry is defined as chemistry that is aimed at designing products and processes that minimize or eliminate the use and production of harmful substances. The green chemistry program developed alternatives to harmful organic solvents – the so-called green solvents. The most
