Self-Synchronized Universal Droop Controller [PDF]
In this paper, a self-synchronization mechanism is embedded into the universal droop controller (UDC), which is applicable to inverters having an impedance angle between −π/2 rad and π/2 rad, to form a self-synchronized UDC (SUDC).

Two pyridinium‐based ionic liquid templated hybrid manganese halides, (C4Py)2[MnCl4] and (C4Py)2[MnBr4], display similar bulk structures but show significantly different photoluminescence behaviors due to the bromine heavy‐atom effect. Their stable local Mn environments remain intact even in the molten state, allowing applications such as luminescence ...

Disturbance Decoupling in Grid-Forming Inverters for Enhanced Dynamic Response
This paper presents a control strategy for grid-forming inverters, utilizing a cascaded dual-control scheme that integrates current and voltage controllers, along with an outer loop for regulating the injected active and reactive power.

Reactive power sharing and voltage harmonic distortion compensation of droop controlled single phase islanded microgrids [PDF]
When paralleling multiple inverters that are capable of operating as an island, the inverters typically employ the droop control scheme. Traditional droop control enables the decentralized regulation of the local voltage and frequency of the ...

Islanding detection with universal grid-forming inverter-based generation
One major concern of commonly proposed grid-forming (GFM) inverter-based resources (IBRs) has been the unintentional islanding, because the variables that are typically used for islanding detection of GFMs are different than those traditionally used with grid-following (GFL) IBRs.

An Improved Control Scheme for Grid-forming Inverters [PDF]
In order to reduce the reliance of power grids on conventional (and often non-renewable) generation, reliable and dispatchable converter-interfaced distributed generators (DGs) are required. Instead of relying on large rotating machines for frequency and voltage regulation, it becomes crucial to develop improved control schemes for grid-forming ...

We present a fully automated Bayesian optimization (BO) protocol for the parameterization of nonbonded interactions in coarse‐grain CG force fields (BACH). Using experimental thermophysical data, we apply the protocol to a broad range of liquids, spanning linear, branched, and unsaturated hydrocarbons, esters, triglycerides, and water.

Distributed Monitoring of Voltage Collapse Sensitivity Indices
The assessment of voltage stability margins is a promising direction for wide-area monitoring systems. Accurate monitoring architectures for long-term voltage instability are typically centralized and lack scalability, while completely decentralized ...

LL‐37 Driven Phase Transition and Stacking in Oligolamellar Gram‐Negative Bacterial Membrane Models
This work establishes oligolamellar bacterial membrane models to investigate how LL‐37 disrupts the complex dual‐bilayer architecture of Gram‐negative bacteria. Combining SAXS, cryo‐TEM, electrophoretic mobility measurements, and coarse‐grained simulations, it reveals cardiolipin‐driven phase transitions leading to bicelle‐like structures and membrane ...

Current-Limiting Droop Control of Grid-connected Inverters [PDF]
A current-limiting droop controller is proposed for single-phase grid-connected inverters with an LCL filter that can operate under both normal and faulty grid conditions.
