Influence of grinding parameters on surface temperature and burn behaviors of grinding rail
Tribology International, 2018Abstract Reasonable grinding parameters are significant problem affecting surface quality of rail grinding. The objective of this study is to explore the effect of grinding parameters on rail grinding temperature and burn behaviors using an inserted semi-artificial thermocouple method.

Influence of grinding parameters on Inconel 625 surface grinding
Journal of Manufacturing Processes, 2020Abstract Nickel-based alloys have been increasingly employed due to their ability to maintain high mechanical strength and high chemical inertia at high temperatures. However, these outstanding properties can impair their machinability, so they are termed difficult-to-machine materials.

Analysis on surface grinding of mild steel by varying grinding parameters
Materials Today: Proceedings, 2021Abstract The most common method for smoothing the work piece is surface grinding in the manufacturing sector. It's like the process of termination. EN31AMsteel is machined by abrasive tools in the current study and assesses surface roughness (Ra) and the rate of material removal (MRR). Use the Design of Experiment (DoE) method to decide the optimized

Statistical evaluation of parameters in grinding
Wear, 1976Abstract The influence of longitudinal feed, cross feed and depth of cut on grinding wheel wear and surface roughness has been investigated using regression analysis. The mathematical models thus developed have been used to select the levels of machining variables such that wheel wear can be reduced without affecting surface finish.

Effect of grinding aids and process parameters on dry fine grinding of polytetrafluoroethylene
Powder Technology, 2021Abstract Ammonium salts (NH4Cl and CO(NH2)2) were used as grinding aids for crushing waste polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to produce ultrafine PTFE powder (d50 = 30 μm) for the first time. PTFE was first dry-milled with the ammonium salts, after which the ground sample was washed with water to remove the soluble salts.
