Zeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.In the shown compounds, the growing volume of the carbosilane side‐groups modifies the self‐assembly in liquid crystalline phases ranging from a square via a pentagonal to a hexagonal honeycomb and finally to a 3D (10,3)‐a double net. The structures are discussed in relation to inorganic solid‐state materials and the concept of “mesoatoms”.

Boldness and niche width structure spatial interactions in a natural rodent community
Journal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.We show that individual behavioural differences (boldness) structure spatial encounter patterns within a natural multi‐species community. By linking personality to space use and interaction structure, our study demonstrates how intraspecific variation can scale up to shape community‐level processes.
