Monitoring Ground-Water and Soil Contamination by Remote Fiber Spectroscopy
1988Fiber optics, lasers, chemistry, fiber optic chemical sensors (FOCS), optics, and spectroscopy have been integrated to form the new technology of remote fiber spectroscopy (RFS). This method permits the development of ductile probes to detect and monitor ground-water contaminants.

Ground state spectroscopy and photochemistry of HAlOH
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2022Ab initio calculations were carried out in order to study the electronic structure and spectroscopy of cis-HAlOH, trans-HAlOH, H2AlO, and AlOH2. The cis structure is more stable than the trans, and both are thermodynamically stable relative to the AlOH + H dissociation limit. A set of spectroscopic constants were generated for the lowest stable isomers

Vibrational Spectroscopy of the Pyridazine Cation in the Ground State
The Journal of Physical Chemistry A, 2006Vibrational structure of the pyridazine cation in the ground state has been revealed by a vacuum-ultraviolet mass-analyzed threshold ionization (VUV-MATI) spectroscopy. The adiabatic ionization energy is precisely measured to be 70241 +/- 6 cm(-1) (8.7088 +/- 0.0007 eV).

Microwave spectroscopy of CD3SH in the ground state
Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 2017Abstract There are many sulfur-containing molecules identified in interstellar medium. However, methyl mercaptan (methanethiol, CH 3 SH) is so far, the only confirmed complex organic molecule and further study on its isotopologues would be worthwhile. With the aid of the new high-sensitivity telescopes, it may be possible to detect CD 3 SH since CD 3

Terahertz spectroscopy of ground state HD18O
Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 2016Abstract Terahertz absorption spectroscopy was employed to measure the ground state pure rotational transitions of the water isotopologue HD 18 O . A total of 105 pure rotational transitions were observed in the 0.5–5.0 THz region with ∼ 100 kHz accuracy for the first time.

Saturation spectroscopy on the ground state of HSSH
Chemical Physics Letters, 1990Abstract The small torsional splitting of the ground-state rotational transitions of disulfane, HSSH, has been measured by saturation dip spectroscopy to a high degree of accuracy. The observed frequency doubling of the rQ0-transitions is of the order of 150 kHz for J = 10 and increases to 180 kHz for J = 61.
