Ground-based Microwave Spectroscopy of the Middle Atmosphere
Optical Remote Sensing of the Atmosphere, 1991Ground-based microwave measurements of middle atmosphere constituents have made important contributions over the years. Among these are the most extensive series of mesospheric water vapor measurements to date1, the observation that antarctic ozone depletion does not extend to the upper stratosphere2, the only extant measurement of the diurnal ...

Microwave Spectroscopy of the Ground, ν18, 2ν18, and ν11Vibrational States of CF3CFH2
Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 1999The rotational spectra of the ground, nu18, 2nu18, and nu11 vibrational states of CF3CFH2 have been investigated in the frequency range 48-116 GHz with an accuracy of measurement better than 10 kHz. Rotational and centrifugal distortion parameters derived using an S-reduced Watson-type Hamiltonian have been improved for the ground and nu18 states.

Low temperature spectroscopy: From ground to space
1996Low temperature molecular spectroscopy represents an essential tool in laboratory astrophysics. This point is illustrated, here, through the case of the diffuse interstellar bands (DIBs), the longest unsolved enigma in astrophysical spectroscopy. Identifying the carriers responsible for these bands is a key element for a correct understanding of the ...

Abstract The acid–base properties of alloxazine (All) and its methyl derivatives have been studied in their ground and first excited singlet states. The concept of an effective electronic valence potential was applied to predict the changes in basicity and acidity of heteroatoms upon excitation and substitution. Changes in the acid–base properties of
