Existence and concentrate behavior of ground state solutions for critical Choquard equations

open access: yesApplied Mathematics Letters, 2019
In this paper, we investigate the following Choquard equation ( P ) − Δ u + ( 1 + μ g ( x ) ) u = ( I α ∗ | u | p ) | u | p − 2 u + u 5 in R 3 , where p ∈ ( 2 , 3 ) , α ∈ ( 0 , p − 2 ) , I α is the Riesz potential and the function g ≥ 0 has a potential ...

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Normalized solutions of NLS equations with mixed nonlocal nonlinearities

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
We study the existence and nonexistence of normalized solutions for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with mixed nonlocal nonlinearities: −Δu=λu+μ(Iα∗∣u∣p)∣u∣p−2u+(Iα∗∣u∣q)∣u∣q−2uinRN,∫RN∣u∣2dx=c,\left\{\begin{array}{ll}-\Delta u=\lambda u+\mu \left({I ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

Ground state solutions for Hamiltonian systems with double exponential growth

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
This study explores the existence of ground state solutions for a Hamiltonian elliptic system in the whole plane R 2 $\mathbb{R}^{2}$ , involving double exponential growth nonlinearities, which are given by the Trudinger–Moser inequalities in weighted ...

Existence and decay property of ground state solutions for Hamiltonian elliptic system

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Analysis, 2019
In this paper we study the following nonlinear Hamiltonian elliptic system with gradient term \begin{document}$ \begin{eqnarray*} \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} -\Delta u +\vec{b}(x)\cdot \nabla u +u+V(x)v = f(x, |z|)v, \; \; x\in\mathbb{R}^{N}, \\ -\Delta v -

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.
