Bose-Einstein condensation with magnetic dipole-dipole forces
Ground-state solutions in a dilute gas interacting via contact and magnetic dipole-dipole forces are investigated. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first example of studies of the Bose-Einstein condensation in a system with realistic long-range ...

GROUND STATE SOLUTION FOR A CLASS FRACTIONAL HAMILTONIAN SYSTEMS
Summary: In this paper, we consider a class of Hamiltonian systems of the form \(_tD_\infty^\alpha(_{-\infty} D_t^\alpha u(t))+L(t) u(t)-\nabla W(t,u(t))=0\) where \(\alpha\in(\frac{1}{2},1)\), \(_{-\infty}D_t^\alpha\) and \(_tD_\infty^\alpha\) are left and right Liouville-Weyl fractional derivatives of order \(\alpha\) on the whole axis \(R ...

ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours

Is demagnetization an efficient optimization method?
Demagnetization, commonly employed to study ferromagnets, has been proposed as the basis for an optimization tool, a method to find the ground state of a disordered system.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Ground state solutions for quasilinear equations of Kirchhoff type
This article concerns quasilinear equations of Kirchhoff type. We prove the existence of ground state signed solutions and sign-changing solutions by using the Nehari method.

On asymptotic stability in energy space of ground states for Nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations
We consider nonlinear Schr\"odinger equations in dimension 3 or higher. We prove that symmetric finite energy solutions close to orbitally stable ground states converge asymptotically to a sum of a ground state and a dispersive wave assuming the so ...

Ground state solutions for Klein-Gordon-Maxwell system with steep potential well
In this paper, we study the following Klein–Gordon–Maxwell system − Δ u + ( λ a ( x ) + 1 ) u − ( 2 ω + ϕ ) ϕ u = f ( x , u ) , in R 3 , − Δ ϕ = − ( ω + ϕ ) u 2 , in R 3 . Using variational methods, we obtain the existence of ground state solutions under

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Existence and asymptotic behavior of solutions for Hénon type equations [PDF]
This paper is concerned with ground state solutions for the Hénon type equation \(-\Delta u(x)=|y|^{\alpha} u^{p-1}(x)\) in \(\Omega\), where \(\Omega=B^k(0,1)\times B^{n-k}(0,1)\subset \mathbb{R}^n\) and \(x=(y,z) \in \mathbb{R}^k \times \mathbb{R}^{n-k}
