Ground state solutions for the Hénon prescribed mean curvature equation
In this paper, we consider the analogous of the Hénon equation for the prescribed mean curvature problem in ℝN{{\mathbb{R}^{N}}}, both in the Euclidean and in the Minkowski spaces. Motivated by the studies of Ni and Serrin [W. M. Ni and J.

Ground state sign-changing solutions for a class of quasilinear Schrödinger equations
In this paper, we consider the following quasilinear Schrödinger equation: −Δu+V(x)u+κ2Δ(u2)u=K(x)f(u),x∈RN,-\Delta u+V\left(x)u+\frac{\kappa }{2}\Delta \left({u}^{2})u=K\left(x)f\left(u),\hspace{1.0em}x\in {{\mathbb{R}}}^{N}, where N≥3N\ge 3, κ>0\kappa \

Renormalization and blow up for charge one equivariant critical wave maps
We prove the existence of equivariant finite time blow up solutions for the wave map problem from 2+1 dimensions into the 2-sphere. These solutions are the sum of a dynamically rescaled ground-state harmonic map plus a radiation term. The local energy of

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Ground State Solutions for a Nonlocal System in Fractional Orlicz-Sobolev Spaces
We consider an elliptic system driven by the fractional a.-Laplacian operator, with Dirichlet boundary conditions type. By using the Nehari manifold approach, we get a nontrivial ground state solution on fractional Orlicz–Sobolev spaces.

Novel correlations in two dimensions: Some exact solutions
We construct a new many-body Hamiltonian with two- and three-body interactions in two space dimensions and obtain its exact many-body ground state for an arbitrary number of particles. This ground state has a novel pairwise correlation.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Bound states of edge dislocations: The quantum dipole problem in two dimensions
We investigate bound state solutions of the 2D Schr\"odinger equation with a dipole potential originating from the elastic effects of a single edge dislocation.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...
