Engineered GM1 Intersects Between Mitochondrial and Synaptic Pathways to Ameliorate ALS Pathology
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease driven by genetic and molecular disruptions affecting energy balance, protein homeostasis, and stress responses in nerve cells. Studies using human and rodent models identified convergent defects in mitochondria and synaptic function.

This study presents a vascularized 3D tumor model to investigate immune–stromal–tumor interactions under allogeneic PBMC perfusion. While immune cells induced tumor shrinkage, they also promoted vascular regression, stromal activation, and cancer cell invasion.

A Rare Cause of Endocarditis: Streptococcus pyogenes
Although group A β-hemolytic streptococcus is an uncommon cause of infective endocarditis, an increase in the incidence of invasive group A streptococcus infections including bacteremia has been reported in the last two decades.

Group A streptococcus and its antibiotic resistance.
Acute pharyngo-tonsillitis caused by beta-haemolytic group A Streptococcus is a common disease in childhood. Epithelial cells are the initial sites of the host invasion by group A Streptococcus. Although group A Streptococcus has been considered an extracellular pathogen, recent studies have demonstrated that strains of this bacterium can internalize ...

This study presents a two‐color FCCS and coincident‐burst analysis platform to quantify actin cargo in dual‐labeled EVs secreted from hiPSCs. The approach tracks secretion dynamics, confirms actin loading, and measures EV size and cargo number, offering insights into cytoskeletal disruption and neuronal differentiation relevant to neurodegenerative ...

Discovery of SKP2‐Recruiting PROTACs for Target Protein Degradation
Based on the SKP2‐targeting ligand SL1, we designed non‐covalent PROTACs by linking it with the BRD4 inhibitor JQ1 and the AR antagonist AL through a linker. These PROTACs successfully induced the ubiquitination of BRD4 and AR, followed by proteasome‐mediated degradation.

This work introduces a substrate‐independent, reagent‐free plasma strategy that forms radical‐rich interlayers for covalent hydrogel attachment without initiators or crosslinkers. The long‐lived radicals drive in situ gelation, creating robust, cytocompatible hybrid solid–hydrogel constructs across diverse substrates.

Low‐affinity antibodies are frequently disregarded in discovery pipelines. This work reports P5‐1C8, a Class 1 SARS‐CoV‐2 antibody with weak trimer binding (KD‐to‐IC50 > 3700‐fold) yet potent neutralization of Omicron JN.1. Structural, biophysical, functional, and coarse‐grained simulations collectively demonstrate that transient inter‐spike IgG ...
