Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

By dawn or dusk—how circadian timing rewrites bacterial infection outcomes
The circadian clock shapes immune function, yet its influence on infection outcomes is only beginning to be understood. This review highlights how circadian timing alters host responses to the bacterial pathogens Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Streptococcus pneumoniae revealing that the effectiveness of immune defense depends not only

Group Acceptance Sampling Plans for Life Tests Based on Half Normal Distribution
In this article, a group acceptance sampling plan is developed based on truncated lifetimes when the lifetime of an item follows a half normal distribution. For a given group size, the minimum number of groups and the acceptance number required are determined for specified consumer's risk and the test termination time.

A Group Acceptance Sampling Plan (GASP) is designedto study the truncated life testplan when the lifetime of an item follows a new compound distribution called as Generalized Exponential-Poisson (GEP). In this article the design parameters are developed for the group size, its acceptance numbers, OC curve, minimum number of groups are determined ...

Birth after emergency caesarean section: Women’s perspectives on the factors influencing their decision making [PDF]
The study explored the decisions women made in relation to mode of birth following a previous emergency lower segment caesarean section (emLSCS), particularly focusing on what different factors influenced women to choose a particular mode of birth and ...

Bifidobacterium bifidum establishes symbiosis with infants by metabolizing lacto‐N‐biose I (LNB) from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). The extracellular multidomain enzyme LnbB drives this process, releasing LNB via its catalytic glycoside hydrolase family 20 (GH20) lacto‐N‐biosidase domain.

In this research article, we build-up a group acceptance sampling plan (GASP) for a resubmitting lot when the lifetime of a product follow the Type II Generalized half-logistic distribution (GHLD). The design parameters of the group acceptance sampling plan for the resubmitted are determined by fixing the experiment termination time and the numbers ...

In this manuscript, we developed resubmitted lots with group acceptance sampling plan for the lifetime of the product follows the odd generalized exponential log logistic distribution introduced by Rosaiah et al. (2016c). The values of the design parameters of the proposed plan are obtained which are satisfying the both producer’s as well consumer’s ...

Simulations of the OzDES AGN Reverberation Mapping Project [PDF]
As part of the OzDES spectroscopic survey we are carrying out a large scale reverberation mapping study of $\sim$500 quasars over five years in the 30 deg$^2$ area of the Dark Energy Survey (DES) supernova fields.
