Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Adaptive User Grouping Based on EVM Prediction for Efficient & Robust Massive MIMO in TDD

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Massive multiple-input, multiple-output (Ma-MIMO) offers significant capacity improvements for sub-6GHz wireless access. Evaluating the practicalities for real-world deployments and identifying solutions is the next critical step in the roll-out of this ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Efficient communication protocol of group negotiation in VANET

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2018
An efficient communication protocol of group negotiation was proposed. The protocol adopted self-checking authentication in group to avoid the nodes sending certificates to the authentication center which improved the efficiency of identification. At the ...

A Group Communication Framework.

open access: yes, 1994
This paper presents a general architectural model for group communications which are communications that may involve more than two parties. The concept of group is presented and the concept of group association, which is an instance of group communication, is analysed.

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
