Secure key agreement for group communications
International Journal of Network Management, 2001AbstractA secure key agreement protocol for group communications is proposed in this paper, which ensures the authenticity of group members and the privacy of group messages, and provides the properties of perfect forward and backward privacy. In a group session, the common key is collaboratively established by all participants, hence the overhead of ...

Post-quantum Group Key Agreement Scheme
2020Progress in quantum technologies forces the development of new cryptographic primitives that are resistant to attacks of an adversary with a quantum computer. A large number of key establishment schemes have been proposed for two participants, but the area of group post-quantum key establishment schemes has not been studied a lot.

A Group Key Agreement Scheme Revisited
2008 The Fourth International Conference on Information Assurance and Security, 2008In PKC'2004, a constant-round group key exchange protocol is proposed. It takes advantage of the properties of the ElGamal encryption scheme combined with the standard secret sharing technique. In this paper, we show that the scheme can be greatly simplified because the standard secret sharing technique does not work well.

Password-based Dynamic Group Key Agreement
2007 IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing Workshops (NPC 2007), 2007A password-based dynamic group key agreement protocol from tripartite Diffie-Hellman using pairing on elliptic curve is presented in this paper. In this scheme, due to all users share a common pre-distributed password, the setup of the key agreement is simplified and the performance is improved. In addition, each user establishes a relation between his

Golden Linear Group Key Agreement Protocol
2017Security in group communication has been a significant field of research for decades. Because of the emerging technologies like cloud computing, mobile computing, ad-hoc networks, and wireless sensor networks, researchers are considering high group dynamics in communication security. Group key agreement protocol is for providing enough security for the

Authenticated Tree Based Group Key Agreement
2009 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security, 2009Secure and reliable group communication is an active area of research. Its popularity is caused by the growing importance of group-oriented and collaborative applications. The central research challenge is secure and efficient group key management.

Certificateless Authenticated Group Key Agreement Protocol for Dynamic Groups
IEEE GLOBECOM 2007-2007 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference, 2007A group key agreement protocol is a process to establish a cryptographic key for a group of participants over an open network. In this paper, we propose a group key agreement (CAGKA) protocol, based on a certificateless public key cryptosystem. CAGKA protocol provides group key establishment and group membership change (join and leave) services for ...

Group key agreement for wireless mesh networks
2009 IEEE 34th Conference on Local Computer Networks, 2009Wireless mesh networks consist of stationary nodes that communicate over wireless connections. Since WLAN security standards are only applicable in the standard scenario where the access points are connected by a cable-bound backbone, nearly all mesh networks broacast messages in the clear.

An Efficient Authenticated Group Key Agreement Protocol
2007 41st Annual IEEE International Carnahan Conference on Security Technology, 2007Authenticated group key agreement is an important cryptographic mechanism underlying many collaborative and distributed applications. Some identity-based authenticated group key agreement schemes are proposed, however most of these protocols are vulnerable to insider attacks, while the other protocols are not efficient in communication. In this paper a
