BACKGROUND Glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3) can act as either a tumour promoter or suppressor by its inactivation depending on the cell type. There are conflicting reports on the roles of GSK-3 isoforms and their interaction with Notch1 in pancreatic ...

Abstract Background Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) remains a devastating neurological disorder with limited therapeutic options. Neural stem cell (NSC)‐based therapies have emerged as a potential regenerative approach, yet the molecular mechanisms regulating NSC behavior require further elucidation.

The effects of clozapine on the GSK‐3‐mediated signaling pathway
We investigated the effect of 10 μM clozapine on the activity of glycogen synthase kinase‐3β (GSK‐3β) and its upstream and downstream molecules in SH‐SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells. Clozapine activates both Akt‐ and Dvl‐mediated phosphorylation of GSK‐3β through phosphorylation at Ser9, and increased total cellular and intranuclear levels of β‐catenin.

Respiratory virus mRNA vaccines: mRNA Design, clinical studies, and future challenges
Abstract Respiratory infectious diseases frequently erupt on a global scale, with RNA viruses, such as SARS‐CoV‐2, RSV, and influenza viruses, posing challenges to vaccine development due to their high mutation rates. Traditional vaccine development cycles are lengthy and struggle to keep pace with rapidly evolving viruses, whereas messenger RNA (mRNA)

Nanostructured Biomaterial‐Based Approaches to Support Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Differentiation
Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), reprogrammed from adult somatic cells, represent an innovative approach for regenerative medicine and biomedical applications. This review highlights the importance of nanostructured biomaterials, utilized as delivery systems or scaffolds, in supporting iPSC differentiation and fate through structural and ...
