Background Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) is rare, and it is even rarer for GTN to merge with primary malignant tumors in other organs. Herein is described a rare clinical case of GTN combined with primary lung cancer and mesenchymal tumor of ...

Scaling limit of vicious walks and two-matrix model
We consider the diffusion scaling limit of the one-dimensional vicious walker model of Fisher and derive a system of nonintersecting Brownian motions.

Non‐Rigid 3D Shape Correspondences: From Foundations to Open Challenges and Opportunities
Abstract Estimating correspondences between deformed shape instances is a long‐standing problem in computer graphics; numerous applications, from texture transfer to statistical modelling, rely on recovering an accurate correspondence map. Many methods have thus been proposed to tackle this challenging problem from varying perspectives, depending on ...

Nitroglycerin use and adverse clinical outcomes in elderly patients with acute coronary syndrome
Objective The primary care for acute coronary syndrome (ACS) includes the administration of nitroglycerin (GTN). This study aimed to investigate the association between the use of GTN before percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for ACS and clinical ...

Developmental Trajectories and Sequential Analysis of Triadic Joint Attention
ABSTRACT Triadic joint attention (JA) refers to the shared focus of a child and an interlocutor on an object or event, accompanied by mutual awareness of this shared attention. Although JA is associated with early social interaction and later language development, its definitions and behavioral markers vary across studies and are often restricted to ...

Hawking effect can generate physically inaccessible genuine tripartite nonlocality
We explore the acceleration effect on the genuine tripartite nonlocality (GTN) for one or two accelerated detector(s) coupled to the vacuum field with initial mixed tripartite states.

A GTN-like Model for Plastic Porous Materials
An extended version of the well-known Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman (GTN) isotropic hardening model is presented in this paper. The yield function of the proposed constitutive model possesses the distinctiveness to explicitly depend upon the third stress invariant. The presented constitutive model is used to analyze the necking of a round tensile bar.

A cumulative genetic score based on IgG4‐associated variants explains a substantial proportion of variance in psIgG4 levels during sustained peanut consumption, highlighting strong gene‐by‐environment interactions. Our findings suggest that early, sustained peanut consumption, in combination with genetic factors, promotes a protective immune response ...
