Guided Filtering of Hyperspectral Images

2018 IEEE Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV), 2018
Guided image filter (GIF) is an efficient edge-preserving image filter which has numerous applications in image processing. The filtered output of GIF is locally a linear transform of a guide image, which can be the input image itself or a different image. The key feature of GIF is that it does not suffer from gradient reversal artifacts.

Geotextile Filter Design Guide

Geotextiles and Geomembranes, 1992
Abstract This paper provides the practicing designer with a comprehensive, systematic approach to solving common filtration design problems. Current filter design procedures often include only permeability and retention criteria. Several other concepts should be incorporated into the design process, such as: (i) consideration of whether permeability ...

Sparse Representation-Based Hyperspectral Image Classification Using Multiscale Superpixels and Guided Filter

IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, 2019
We propose a spatial–spectral hyperspectral image classification method based on multiscale superpixels and guided filter (MSS–GF). In order to use spatial information effectively, MSSs are used to get local information from different region scales ...

Mutually Guided Image Filtering

Proceedings of the 25th ACM international conference on Multimedia, 2017
Image filtering is helpful to numerous multimedia, computer vision and graphics tasks. Linear translation-invariant filters with manually designed kernels have been widely used. However, their performance suffers from the content-blindness, say identically treating noises, textures and structures. To mitigate the content-blindness, a family of filters,

Phase Matching Guided Filtering

2018 IEEE 7th Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE), 2018
Guided filtering (GF) is widely employed to generate a de-noised image from a flash image and a no-flash image. To generate a de-noised image with the GF, a flash image and a no-flash image are utilized as an input image and a guidance image of the GF, respectively.

Robust Kalman Filter for Position Estimation of Automated Guided Vehicles Under Cyberattacks

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2023
Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) have become a key part of many industries, where they handle the task of managing material flows. As a result, they are very important targets for cyberattacks to cripple organizations by using methods, such as false data

Image fusion based on guided filter and online robust dictionary learning

, 2020
It has been confirmed that sparse representation (SR) is successfully applied in many fields, including multi-modal image fusion. A novel SR-based image fusion framework is proposed in this paper, which exhibits state-of-the-art performance in not only ...

Hybrid Image Fusion Method Based On Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Guided Filter

2020 First International Conference of Smart Systems and Emerging Technologies (SMARTTECH), 2020
Image fusion is the process of integrating the features of multiple images into a single image. The final image represents all important features from each source image. A number of imaging modalities are available which provide diverse information.

Multi-lead model-based ECG signal denoising by guided filter

Engineering applications of artificial intelligence, 2019
The electrocardiogram (ECG) denoising is of paramount importance for accurate disease diagnosis, but individual differences bring great difficulties for ECG denoising, especially for Dynamic Electrocardiography (DCG).
