Occlusal guiding flange prosthesis for management of hemimandibulectomy-a case report
Surgical resection of the mandible due to presence of benign or malignant tumor is the most common. Depending upon the location and extent of the tumor in the mandible, various surgical treatment modalities like marginal, segmental, hemi, subtotal, or total mandibulectomy can be performed.

Decision making in the fabrication of mandibular guide flange prosthesis: A case series.
Abstract Introduction: Post-cancer ablative surgery often results in a gross imbalance in the anatomic structure, thereby impairing occlusion and other vital functions of life. The remaining mandible after surgery shifts to the medial and superior direction, causing impaired functions.

Ultrathin MXene/EMF composite foams achieve a specific shielding efficiency of 749.6 dB.dB·cm3$\mathrm{dB}\cdot {\mathrm{cm}}^{3}$/g, while the silver‐enhanced MXene/Ag/EMF reaches 81.4 dB shielding effectiveness at just 1.0 mm thickness. Both composites exhibit rapid Joule heating, retain stability up to 250∘C$^\circ{\rm C}$, and withstand 1000 ...

Rehabilitation of patients with a severe mandibular defect is challenging to prosthodontists. The esthetic and functional rehabilitation of patients with lateral mandibular resection is difficult due to the lack of supporting tissues for the prosthesis. The mandibular deviation furthermore results in facial asymmetry and unstable occlusion.

A soft robotic simulator is developed to replicate the digital removal of feces (DRF), a sensitive yet essential nursing procedure. Integrating soft actuators, sensors, and a realistic rectal model, the simulator balances functional fidelity with perceptual realism. Engineering evaluations and nurse feedback confirm its potential to enhance training in

Atom guiding in free-space light beams and photonic crystal fibres [PDF]
In this thesis I describe experimental work and present data on the guiding of Rubidium atoms along free-space propagating light beams as well as within hollow core glass fibres, namely photonic crystal fibres.

ST Quartz Acoustic Wave Sensors with Sectional Guiding Layers [PDF]
We report the effect of removing a section of guiding layer from the propagation paths of ST-quartz Love wave sensors; this offers the ease of fabrication of a polymer guiding layer whilst retaining the native surface of the quartz which may then be used

Systematic Exploration of 3D Concrete Printing Parameters for Conformal Printing on Sloped Surfaces
A conformal slicing algorithm is developed for robotic 3D concrete printing (3DCP) on sloped surfaces as a first step toward printing slab‐on‐grade foundations on uneven terrain. Systematic experiments quantify the effects of nozzle speed, extrusion rate, and toolpath direction on filament dimension and stability.
