Efficacy and Safety of rVIII‐SingleChain in Surgical Prophylaxis

open access: yesHaemophilia, Volume 31, Issue 4, Page 634-645, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Introduction RVIII‐SingleChain is a B‐domain‐truncated factor VIII construct with a covalent bond between the factor VIII heavy and light chains. Aim We report on the efficacy and safety of rVIII‐SingleChain in subjects with severe haemophilia A undergoing surgery.

Nodularia spumigena blooms and the occurrence of hepatotoxin in the Gulf of Gdańsk

open access: yesOceanologia, 2003
Nodularia spumigena forms extensive summer blooms in the Baltic Sea. The occurrence of the blooms is determined by water temperature, light intensity and nutrient concentration; levels of nitrogen and phosphorus in particular are critical.

Bacterial community structure influenced by Coscinodiscus sp. in the Vistula river plume* This research was carried out with the support of a grant from the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (No. NN304 025334) and statutory activities of the Department of Fisheries Oceanography and Marine Ecology of the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute (project P1-2).

open access: yesOceanologia, 2014
The Gulf of Gdańsk is influenced by freshwater inflow from the River Vistula and by a wind-driven current along the coast. Bacterial communities from five stations along a salinity gradient were sampled during one day and analysed by terminal restriction

Toxic Nodularia spumigena blooms in the coastal waters of the Gulf of Gdańsk: a ten-year survey

open access: yesOceanologia, 2006
In the Baltic Sea, summer blooms of the filamentous, nitrogen-fixingcyanobacterium Nodularia spumigena are favoured by high P concentrationsat low N:P ratios and a salinity range of 5-13 PSU. The bloomsare initiated by calm and sunny weather, an elevated

An assessment of nutrient conditions in the southern Baltic Sea between 1994 and 1998

open access: yesOceanologia, 2000
Temporal variations (1994-98) in nutrient distribution were analysed in the break Polish sector of the Baltic Sea with reference to long-term (1979-98) fluctuations of hydrological and chemical factors.

Mytilopsis leucophaeata, an alien dreissenid bivalve discovered in the Gulf of Gdańsk (southern Baltic Sea)

open access: yesOceanologia, 2011
Mytilopsis leucophaeata (Conrad's false mussel), an invasive American bivalve, has been found for the first time in the Gulf of Gdańsk on hard substrata (PVC panels) deployed at depths from 3.5 to 6.0 m.
