Anomalous low-frequency noise increase at the onset of oscillations in Gunn diodes [PDF]
In this work, the presence of anomalous lowfrequency noise effects in Gunn diodes has been studied and evidenced. Near the onset of Gunn instability, there is a limited range of bias voltages for which the noise significantly increases at frequencies well below the frequency of oscillation.

Gunn-diode oscillator at 95 GHz
The results of Gunn-diode-oscillator development at 90 to 94 GHz are reported, along with a discussion of the devices and circuit used. The best performance obtained was 25 mW output power (at 30°C heatsink temperature) with a d.c.-to-r.f. conversion efficiency of 0.6% at an operating frequency of 93.7 GHz.

Planar gunn diode characterisation and resonator elements to realise oscillator circuits [PDF]
The paper describes the planar Gunn diode, which is well suited to providing milli-metric and tera hertz sources using microwave monolithic integrated circuit (MMIC) technologies. Different planar Gunn electrode geometries are described along with DC, RF and thermal characterisation. To realize the planar high frequency sources there is requirement for

Frequency Deviation of Injection-Locked Microwave Autodynes [PDF]
This article presents the results of the autodyne (AD) frequency deviation research, which is simultaneously affected by its own reflected radiation and the external synchronisation signal. The basic correlations are obtained for the injection-locked AD (

Exploring Double NDR Modulation and UV‐NIR Photodetection in MoS2/Sb2Se3 Heterostructures
In this study, a van der Waals Sb2Se3/MoS2 heterostructure exhibits dual negative differential resistance (NDR) peaks at room temperature. The first originates from band‐to‐band tunneling, while the second, triggered under laser illumination, is attributed to trap states and recombination dynamics.

Gunn diode oscillator constructed in nonradiative dielectric waveguide
The physical construction of a Gunn diode oscillator in non-radiative dielectric waveguide is described. A stripline construction is used for biasing, and the diode is mounted so as to feed a slot which in turn launches the wave into the wave-guide.
