Bti BR101 exhibits strong larvicidal activity against Anopheles larvae spp., with dose‐dependent mortality and LC50 of 3.13 µg/mL. Bti increases ROS, lipid and protein oxidation, and activates antioxidant enzymes (SOD, CAT, GPx) and detoxification pathways (MFO and esterases), indicating moderate oxidative stress.

A benzofuran‐triketone hybrid emerged as the most promising 4‐hydroxyphenylpyruvate inhibitor, showing the highest predicted activity and strongest binding compared to the best experimental compound. Free computational tools guided candidate selection, predicted interactions with the enzyme, and confirmed stable binding.

Journal of Applied Bacteriology, 1956SUMMARY: Viable counts were made in three media of material from the crop, gizzard, duodenum, ileum and caeca of chicks. Groups of birds 2, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 30 days old were studied. The results showed that a balanced gut flora is established one day after feeding.
