Abstract By 2022, the European Commission seeks to introduce harmonized, mandatory front‐of‐pack (FOP) nutrition labeling. The color‐graded Nutri‐Score is at the heart of the European debate. Yet, little is known about how the information provided in back‐of‐pack (BOP) nutrition tables interacts with evaluative FOP labels, such as Nutri‐Score, and if ...

Kuga Varieties of Polarised Abelian Surfaces [PDF]
We study the Kodaira dimension of Kuga varieties $\mathcal{X}^n_p$ associated to the moduli spaces $\mathcal{A}_p$ of $(1, p)$-polarised abelian surfaces with level structure for prime $p \geq 3$.

FLORA: Fine-grained Low-Rank Architecture Search for Vision Transformer [PDF]
Vision Transformers (ViT) have recently demonstrated success across a myriad of computer vision tasks. However, their elevated computational demands pose significant challenges for real-world deployment. While low-rank approximation stands out as a renowned method to reduce computational loads, efficiently automating the target rank selection in ViT ...

Differentially Private Wireless Federated Learning Using Orthogonal Sequences [PDF]
We propose a privacy-preserving uplink over-the-air computation (AirComp) method, termed FLORAS, for single-input single-output (SISO) wireless federated learning (FL) systems. From the perspective of communication designs, FLORAS eliminates the requirement of channel state information at the transmitters (CSIT) by leveraging the properties of ...
