Microbial collaborations and conflicts: unraveling interactions in the gut ecosystem
The human gut microbiota constitutes a vast and complex community of microorganisms. The myriad of microorganisms present in the intestinal tract exhibits highly intricate interactions, which play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and balance ...

Intestinal microbiota is composed by symbiotic innocuous bacteria and potential pathogens also called pathobionts. The human gut normally hosts roughly 1014 bacterial organisms of up to 1000 different species. The genome size of this microbial organ, collectively named microbiome, exceeds the size of the human nuclear genome by 2 orders of magnitude.

Gut metabolite trimethylamine N‐oxide accumulates in the diabetic wound area to amplify macrophage inflammation via enhancing glycolysis activities. Kinsenoside induces macrophage repolarization from M1 to M2 phenotype through inhibiting IRE1α/XBP1 pathway, followed by HIF‐1α‐glycolysis axis repression and mitophagy‐oxidative phosphorylation axis ...

Obese gut‐microbiota derived lipopolysaccharides (LPS) induce bone marrow macrophage senescence and GCA secretion via activating TLR4/NF‐κB/MAPKs pathway. Clinically, obese patients are associated with higher serum GCA levels. Mice with depletion of GCA gene show resistance to skeletal deterioration caused by obesity and LPS‐induced chronic ...

KRAS mutations dynamically remodel the tumor microenvironment (TME), fostering immunosuppression, metabolic symbiosis, and stromal plasticity. This review dissects how oncogenic KRAS variants sculpt TME networks and explores actionable vulnerabilities. Emerging strategies combining KRAS inhibitors and TME‐editing approaches offer potential to dismantle

Magnetite Micro/Nanorobots for Efficient Targeted Alleviation of Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Improved reactive oxygen species scavenging capacities of functionalized micro/nanorobots (MNRs) are useful for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). MNRs can break the harmful bacteria in IBD, thereby eliminating inflammation and restoring the intestinal barrier function.

Uveitis and the gut microbiota
Uveitis is a heterogeneous collection of inflammatory diseases of the intraocular uveal tissues and adjacent structures, and they collectively are a significant cause of visual morbidity. In recent years, investigating the contribution of the gut microbiota to autoimmunity, including the development of uveitis, has gained interest.
