Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Separating manifolds in slow-fast systems
There are many applications that lead to models involving different timescales. For example, this is particularly the case for models of neurons, which involve dynamics of ionic channels across the cell membrane.

Quasi conformally flat quasi Einstein Weyl manifolds
The aim of this work is to study on quasi conformally flat quasi Einstein-Weyl manifolds. In this book chapter, firrstly, an interesting relationship between complementary vector field and generator of the quasi Einstein-Weyl manifold is obtained and ...

Diameter Bounds on the Complex of Minimal Genus Seifert Surfaces for Hyperbolic Knot [PDF]
Given a link L in the 3-sphere, one can build simplicial complexes MS(L) and IS(L), called the Kakimizu complexes. These complexes have isotopy classes of minimal genus and incompressible Seifert surfaces for L as their vertex sets and have simplicial ...

Pseudo-timelike loops in signature changing semi-Riemannian manifolds with a transverse radical
In 1983, Hartle and Hawking proposed the no-boundary proposal, suggesting that the universe has no beginning in the sense of a spacetime singularity or boundary. Nevertheless, there is an origin of time.

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Kahler manifolds and their relatives
Let M1 and M2 be two K¨ahler manifolds. We call M1 and M2 relatives if they share a non-trivial K¨ahler submanifold S, namely, if there exist two holomorphic and isometric immersions (K¨ahler immersions) h1 : S → M1 and h2 : S → M2. Moreover, two K¨ahler

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...
