Effects of Grain Refiner and Cooling Rate on Solidification Structure of H62 Brass
In this paper, effects of different grain refiners on solidification structure of H62 brass under different cooling rates were investigate by macro corrosion, SEM and EDX analyses. Results of experiments indicate that the columnar crystal zone of H62 brass is completely eliminated and the grain size is reduced remarkably by 0.01%B.

Corrosion behavior of copper T2 and brass H62 in simulated Nansha marine atmosphere
Abstract The accelerated corrosion behavior of copper T2 and brass H62 exposed in simulated Nansha marine atmosphere for different periods were investigated by weight loss method, SEM, XRD and potentiodynamic polarization measurements. The results indicate that copper T2 and brass H62 underwent severe corrosion, and the final corrosion rates at 32 ...

Dissimilar Welding of H62 Brass-316L Stainless Steel Using Continuous-Wave Nd:YAG Laser
Continuous-wave Nd:YAG laser welding of H62 brass and 316L stainless steel was studied using welded joints made with different overlap configurations. Optical and scanning electron microscopies, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and microhardness testing were used to analyze the microstructures and mechanical properties of the joints.

Metabolism of glycolic acid by Azotobacter chroococcum PRL H62
Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 1973When Azotobacter chroococcum grows on glycolic acid as sole C source, it cannot utilize N2 and must be provided with reduced nitrogen. Glycolic acid is metabolized via Kornberg's dicarboxylic acid cycle. The TCA cycle enzymes are low in activity, and isocitric dehydrogenase is absent.

Experiment Research on Grinding Temperature of Micro-Grinding H62
Advanced Materials Research, 2013The thermocouple temperature measurement method was adopted to measure the surface temperature in micro-grinding experiment. According to the different grinding depth, the appropriate processing parameters were chosen to find out the temperature field distribution on the surface and in different depth of subsurface.

Constitutive modeling of hot deformation behavior of H62 brass
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2011Abstract The hot deformation behaviors of H62 brass are investigated by isothermal compression tests on a Gleeble 1500 thermal-mechanics simulator in the temperature range of 650–800 °C and the strain rate range of 0.01–10 s −1 . Most of the stress–strain curves exhibit a single peak stress, indicating a typical dynamic recrystallization (DRX ...

Constitutive Modeling for Superplastic Flow Behavior of H62 Alloy
Advanced Materials Research, 2014In order to precisely describe superplastic flow behavior of H62 alloy, a empirical constitutive equation was established based on the experimental data, which were obtained from the constant strain rate tensions (2.0×10-4~4.0×10-2s-1) at 720 °C. Through verification of the constitutive equation with the experimental data in constant strain rate ...
