A Measurement of Jet Shapes in Proton-Proton Collisions at 7.0 TeV Center-of-Mass Energy with the ATLAS Detector at the Large Hadron Collider [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A study of jet shapes is presented using 300 nb−1 of proton-proton collision data collected at a center of mass energy of 7 TeV using the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.

KINETIC DESCRIPTION OF HADRON–HADRON COLLISIONS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics E, 2008
A transport model based on the mean free path approach to describe pp collisions is proposed. We assume that hadrons can be treated as bags of partons similarly to the MIT bag model. When the energy density in the collision is higher than a critical value, the bags break and partons are liberated. The partons expand and can coalesce to form new hadrons.

Antinucleon-nucleon interaction at next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order in chiral effective field theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
Results for the antinucleon-nucleon N ¯ N $$ \left(\overline{N}\;N\right) $$ interaction obtained at next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order in chiral effective field theory (EFT) are reported.

Inclusive Jet Cross Sections in Proton-Proton Collisions at 7.0 TeV Center-of-Mass Energy with the ATLAS Detector at the Large Hadron Collider [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Inclusive jet cross sections are measured using the full 2010 ATLAS data set, corresponding to approximately 37 pb-1 of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV provided by the Large Hadron Collider. The cross sections are dened using

$$P_{cc}^N$$ P cc N states in a unitarized coupled-channel approach

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
Starting from an effective Lagrangian with heavy quark spin symmetry embedded, the coupled-channel dynamics of the doubly charmed systems $$D^{(*)} \Sigma _c^{(*)}$$ D ( ∗ ) Σ c ( ∗ ) is investigated. The potential underlying our investigation includes t-

Hadron-Hadron and cosmic-ray interactions at multi-TeV energies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The workshop on "Hadron-Hadron and Cosmic-Ray Interactions at multi-TeV Energies" held at the ECT centre (Trento) in Nov.-Dec. 2010 gathered together both theorists and experimentalists to discuss issues of the physics of high-energy hadronic ...

Implications of an increased Λ-separation energy of the hypertriton

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
Stimulated by recent indications that the binding energy of the hypertriton could be significantly larger than so far assumed, requirements of a more strongly bound HΛ3 state for the hyperon-nucleon interaction and consequences for the binding energies ...

The width of the Roper resonance in baryon chiral perturbation theory

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
We calculate the width of the Roper resonance at next-to-leading order in a systematic expansion of baryon chiral perturbation theory with pions, nucleons, and the delta and Roper resonances as dynamical degrees of freedom.
