A comparative analysis of hadron creation in deuteron-deuteron interactions at energies of 13.5 GeV and 27.0 GeV

open access: yesSt. Petersburg Polytechnical University Journal: Physics and Mathematics
This paper presents the results of nuclear modification factors for hadrons in deuteron-deuteron collisions at energies of √(s_NN)=13.5 GeV and √(s_NN)=27.0 GeV.

Generating a resonance-like structure in the reaction $$B_c\rightarrow B_s \pi \pi $$ B c → B s π π

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
We investigate the process $$B_c^+\rightarrow B_s^0\pi ^+\pi ^0$$ B c + → B s 0 π + π 0 via $$B\bar{K}^*$$ B K ¯ ∗ rescattering. The kinematic conditions for triangle singularities are perfectly satisfied in the rescattering diagrams.

Hadronic and Hadron-Like Physics of Dark Matter [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2019
The problems of simple elementary weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) appeal to extend the physical basis for nonbaryonic dark matter. Such extension involves more sophisticated dark matter candidates from physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM) of elementary particles.

HERWIG 6: an event generator for Hadron emission reactions with interfering gluons (including supersymmetric processes)

open access: yes, 2000
HERWIG is a general-purpose Monte Carlo event generator, which includes the simulation of hard lepton-lepton, lepton-hadron and hadron-hadron scattering and soft hadron-hadron collisions in one package. It uses the parton-shower approach for initial- and

Search for new particles in events with one lepton and missing transverse momentum in pp collisions at s√ = 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This paper presents a search for new particles in events with one lepton (electron or muon) and missing transverse momentum using 20.3 fb−1 of proton-proton collision data at s√ = 8 TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider.

Phenomenology of near-threshold states: a practical parametrisation for the line shapes

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
In the last decade many states in the spectrum of charmonium and bottomonium have been observed experimentally above the lowest open-flavour threshold.

The Y(4230) as a D1D molecule [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
. We show that the currently available data are consistent with Y(4230) being a D1D¯ hadronic molecule. By a simultaneous fit to data from e+e− → D0D*−π+, J/ψπ+π−, J/ψK+ K−, hcπ+π−, J/ψη, χc0ω, χc1(3872)γ and µ+µ−, we demonstrate that this single state ...

Lattice QCD and Baryon-Baryon Interactions: HAL QCD Method

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2020
In this article, we review the HAL QCD method to investigate baryon-baryon interactions, such as nuclear forces in lattice QCD. We first explain our strategy in detail to investigate baryon-baryon interactions by defining potentials in field theories ...

Quantum chromodynamics (QCD)-like phase diagram with Efimov trimers and Cooper pairs in resonantly interacting SU(3) Fermi gases

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2019
We investigate color superfluidity and trimer formation in resonantly interacting SU(3) Fermi gases with a finite interaction range. The finite range is crucial to avoid the Thomas collapse and treat the Efimov effect occurring in this system.
