Antimicrobial Resistance and Infant Mortality in Sri Lanka: A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesJournal of Paediatrics and Child Health, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Sepsis is a major cause of mortality among children, with the highest burden evident in neonates and young infants, particularly, in resource‐constrained healthcare settings. Multi‐Omics Signatures of Periodontitis and Periodontal Therapy on the Oral and Gut Microbiome

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
This multi‐omics study integrates shotgun metagenomics and NMR metabolomics to reveal coordinated microbial and metabolic signatures of periodontitis across the oral–gut axis. Non‐surgical periodontal therapy partially restored ecological and functional balance, supporting oral health as a modifiable driver of systemic microbial homeostasis.
