Haemostatic Defects in Myelofibrosis
Acta Haematologica, 2009Platelet function, blood coagulation and fibrinolysis were studied in 13 patients with myelofibrosis. The main abnormalities were impaired ADP-release and abnormal platelet aggregation with collagen. The delay period was prolonged to a degree varied from a few minutes to indefinitely.

European Urology, 19781,500 cases of retropubic adenomectomy with preventive ligation of the prostatic arterial pedicles and trigonisation of the posterior urethra are presented. The technical details are described. The mortality rate is 0.7%. One of the most frequent complications is pulmonary embolus, lethal in only 0.3% of the cases.
