Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPVāpositive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosomeāassociated 3ā²ā5ā² exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5āfluorouracil (5āFU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5āFU sensitivity. We analyze cisplatināDNA adducts (CDAs) and doubleāstrand breaks (DSBs) in a cellācycleādependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in Sāphase.
