Oscillation Theorems for Second-Order Half-Linear Advanced Dynamic Equations on Time Scales

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2011
This paper is concerned with the oscillatory behavior of the second-order half-linear advanced dynamic equation (š‘Ÿ(š‘”)(š‘„Ī”(š‘”))š›¾)Ī”+š‘(š‘”)š‘„š›¾(š‘”(š‘”))=0 on an arbitrary time scale š•‹ with sup š•‹=āˆž, where š‘”(š‘”)ā‰„š‘” and āˆ«āˆžš‘”š‘œ(Ī”š‘ /(š‘Ÿ1/š›¾(š‘ )))

On oscillation of half-linear functional-differential equations with deviating arguments

open access: yesHiroshima Mathematical Journal, 1994
This paper is devoted to the study of the oscillatory behavior of semilinear functional differential equations of the type \[ \biggl( \bigl |x'(t) \bigr |^\alpha \text{sign} x'(t) \biggr)' = \sum^n_{i = 1} p_i (t) \biggl |x \bigl( g_i(t) \bigr) \biggr |^\alpha \text{sgn} x \bigl( g_i(t) \bigr), \tag{A} \] where \(\alpha > 0\), \(p_i : [0, \infty) \to ...

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Asymptotic formulas for solutions of half-linear Euler-Weber equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2008
We establish improved asymptotic formulas for nonoscillatory solutions of the half-linear Euler-Weber type differential equation $$ (\Phi(x'))'+\left[\frac{\gamma_p}{t^p}+\frac{\mu_p}{t^p\log^2 t}\right]\Phi(x)=0, \quad \Phi(x):=|x|^{p-2}x,\quad p>1 ...

Use of the Modified Riccati Technique for Neutral Half-Linear Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
We study the second-order neutral half-linear differential equation and formulate new oscillation criteria for this equation, which are obtained through the use of the modified Riccati technique. In the first statement, the oscillation of the equation is

Half-linear Euler differential equations in the critical case [PDF]

open access: yesTatra Mountains Mathematical Publications, 2011
Abstract We investigate oscillatory properties of the perturbed half-linear Euler differential equation . A perturbation is also allowed in the coefficient involving derivative.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...
