Conditional oscillation of half-linear Euler-type dynamic equations on time scales
We investigate second-order half-linear Euler-type dynamic equations on time scales with positive periodic coefficients. We show that these equations are conditionally oscillatory, i.e., there exists a sharp borderline (a constant given by the ...

This research protocol outlines a workflow for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolomics in the agri‐food sector. Using two case studies—strawberry leaves (solid matrix) and wine (liquid matrix)—it details the procedures for sample preparation, data acquisition, and processing.

Oscillatory and non-oscillatory solutions of dynamic equations with bounded coefficients
We analyze second-order half-linear dynamic equations on time scales. We prove oscillation and non-oscillation criteria which are sharp in the sense that the considered equations remain uncovered only for one setting of their coefficients.

In this paper, we propose a new three-level implicit method based on a half-step spline in compression method of order two in time and order four in space for the solution of one-space dimensional quasi-linear hyperbolic partial differential equation of ...

Nonoscillatory half-linear difference equations and recessive solutions
This paper is concerned with recessive and dominant solutions for the nonoscillatory second-order half-linear difference equations \[ \Delta(a_{n}\Phi(x_{n}))+b_{n}\Phi(x_{n+1})=0, \] where \(\Delta x_{n}=x_{n+1}-x_{n}\), \(\Phi(u)=| u| ^{p-2}u\) with \(p>1\), and \(\{a_{n}\},\{b_{n}\}\) are positive real sequences for \(n\geq1\). By using a uniqueness

DDX3X induces mesenchymal transition of endothelial cells by disrupting BMPR2 signaling
Elevated DDX3X expression led to downregulation of BMPR2, a key regulator of endothelial homeostasis and function. Our co‐immunoprecipitation assays further demonstrated a molecular interaction between DDX3X and BMPR2. Notably, DDX3X promoted lysosomal degradation of BMPR2, thereby impairing its downstream signaling and facilitating endothelial‐to ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

A remark on the linearization technique in half-linear oscillation theory [PDF]
We show that oscillatory properties of the half-linear second order differential equation \[(r(t)\Phi(x'))'+c(t)\Phi(x)=0,\qquad\Phi(x)=|x|^{p-2}x,\quad p\gt 1,\] can be investigated via oscillatory properties of a certain associated second order linear ...

Linearized Riccati Technique and (Non-)Oscillation Criteria for Half-Linear Difference Equations
We consider the half-linear second-order difference equation Δ(rkΦ(Δxk))+ckΦ(xk+1)=0, Φ(x):=|x|p−2x, p>1, where r, c are real-valued sequences.
